Moroccan breakfast in Düsseldorf-Oberbilk
Breakfast is an invitation to slow down, explore flavours and enjoy time together. Moroccan breakfasts often combine bread with honey, butter, cheese, olives and olive oil, alongside warm pastries, semolina breads, eggs and tea. Our family patisserie has brought Moroccan food traditions and craftsmanship to Ellerstraße since 2007.
What makes it special?
The mix of sweet and savoury components lets you discover different flavours in one meal.
- Msemen: Square, pan-cooked flatbread with fine flaky layers.
- Baghrir: Soft Moroccan pancakes with their characteristic tiny holes.
- Harcha: Golden semolina bread with a pleasantly grainy texture.
- Amlou: A creamy spread made with roasted almonds, honey and argan oil.
- Khlii: A traditional Moroccan meat speciality, often served with eggs.
- Moroccan tea: Aromatic tea served in a traditional pot, closely associated with hospitality.

Our handmade Amlou contains roasted almonds, honey and organic argan oil. Its nutty flavour goes well with Msemen, Baghrir, Harcha and fresh bread.
